Halfway Creek Park Band Shell

The band shell is located in the 14.5 acre Halfway Creek Park.  A grassy area is in front of the stage, ready for audiences to spread their blankets or place their chairs.

It was designed by Vierbicher and Associates and built in 2009-10.  The cost was $750,000 and it was funded by tax dollars.

Dedication of the band shell was held May 8, 2010, with many other events also occurring at the park that day.

From early June into September on Sunday evenings, free concerts are held; Movies Under the Stars are scheduled several times during the summer season.  It is also available and used for weddings, festivals, music for volleyball league, and the announcement area for runs/walks.
